Handling and shipping costs
ORDER IT TODAY, GET IT TOMORROW shipping guidelines:
Buyer must:
• Place order before 2 pm EDT
• Use Next Day shipping option
• Must use correct method of shipping (see below)
Costume Universe ships via UPS promptly after receiving your order. All orders include a $3 handling fee.
Depending upon your location to our warehouse in Tucker, GA, shipping could take from 3 to 7 days
(7 days on the west coast). Orders are shipped to street addresses only, NOT Post office boxes.
Local Pick Up - If you live in the Atlanta Metropolitan area you can select Local Pick Up from the UPS
drop down menu and you will not be charged a shipping charge. You may come by our offices located in
Tucker, GA. Our address is located in the Contact Us page.
PLEASE READ the following information before placing a call to us. You may be able to get the answer
to your question here.
Here is a general rule of thumb for knowing when your order will arrive.
1. SAME DAY SHIPPING.. .Costume Universe will make every effort to ship your package the same day that
we receive the order. The order will need to be in our system before 2PM EDT. After that time, your order will
be processed the next business day.
Some situations may not allow us to ship your order the same day. Some of these exceptions will include:
a.) Not having a complete delivery address. We do not deliver to PO Boxes but we still receive those. A full
delivery address is required including Phone numbers. Phone numbers are essential for UPS. In case there is a
problem with delivery, UPS may contact you.
b.) The correct method of Shipping. If you notice that your order does not have a shipping charge and it should,
please contact us immediately. In this example, we would have to contact you to collect a shipping fee and this may
delay the shipping of your order.
c.) International orders may also result in a slight delay.
d.) Paypal orders that have not been confirmed as paid prior to 2PM will not be processed until payment has
been received and confirmed. Customer is responsible for assuring adequate funds are available. Non Sufficient
Funds (NSF) will result in delay or even cancellation of your order.
2. MOST orders ship within one (1) business day (Mon-Fri) but in some instances it may take up to 3 business
days to process your order. SHIPMENTS DO NOT HAVE A GUARANTEE DELIVERY DATE. Saturdays
and Sundays do not count as regular shipping days and Holidays are excluded as well.
Example: An order placed on Monday to be shipped 2nd Day Air should arrive on Friday allowing for processing
time and shipment. The ONLY exception is NEXT DAY AIR. In this case, an order placed on Monday should arrive
on Wednesday. For orders needed in less than 2 days, please indicate in the comment section of your order the date
your order is needed in which case every effort will be made to speed the processing time.
3. To further track your order, log into the user section with your passcode and retrieve your UPS tracking number.
You can track the order directly through www.ups.com.
ALL SHIPPING IS FOR U.S. AND CANADA ONLY - OUTSIDE U.S. ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL OCCUR.
